This program is also implemented through a strategic partnership with PaperPods, a startup that introduced the first circular paper dropbox in Indonesia. This solution enables corporations to channel paper waste for handmade recycling by skilled female artisans, while simultaneously empowering community groups.

The entire management process is equipped with a digital tracking system to transparently measure environmental impacts, from the amount of paper diverted from landfills, estimated carbon emissions (CO₂) avoided, to the number of trees potentially saved.

 

BNI hopes to expand its circular economy-based waste management effort to more work units and the public by collaborating with its parent company, subsidiaries, and sustainability startup partners. This initiative emphasizes that environmentally friendly practices are not merely ceremonial programs, but rather part of a measurable, sustainable business strategy with long-term impact.
